Workshops

Emily’s creative non-fiction writing workshops are an informal non-lecture series where in-class spontaneous writing is encouraged and work at home is critiqued by the instructor as well as the class. It is a FUN non threatening, accepting, warm atmosphere that seeks to stimulate inspiration while helping students to recognize and sharpen their own writing style and voice.

It is for people who want feedback, support and discipline, for those who want to improve their craft, for those who simply want to tell their personal story or merely "let it all hang out." Vignettes and personal essays work here too. Feedback is given via email, and students receive weekly handouts and occasional readings.

$18. per session must sign up for all 5 @ $90. for residents
